I've made some progress in getting her ready to ride but, alas, she remains in pieces. I cleaned and rebuilt the carbs but she doesn't start like she used to so I think the choke valve needs tweaking. The cooling system was flushed and a new thermostat seems to be working. However, I still can't get the hydraulic clutch to work and this has been the most vexing and irritating problem thus far. I rebuilt the master cylinder, disassembled and thoroughly cleaned the slave cylinder and flushed the lines but still can't get it working. I plan to take everything apart and take the parts to my cycle repair shop and see if they can determine if any need to be replaced. I'm starting to think the parts they gave me to rebuild the master cylinder were a tad off the correct size. I apologize that there is little humor in this post but there is nothing funny about this rehab project.
