I can't believe it's been over a month since my last post. I have no excuses except I just didn't feel like there was anything going on that was worth the time and bandwidth.
My poor wife is losing her job. After 10 years of devoted service the powers that be have decided to toss her out like an old pair of shoes. Due to years of mismanagement and neglect the IVCH administration has decided to close the Psych Unit where she works. Another victim of "Sick Sigma". Nancy's job search continues but so far nothing promising. I may have to polish the old resume and look for a job.
The Shadow is still not out of sick bay. I can't get that damned hydraulic clutch to function despite rebuilding both the master cylinder and the slave cylinder. I haven't given up on her and will continue to try and resurrect the old beast. I'm going to take the master cylinder apart and have my brother Jerry lay his hands on it. I will be seeing him next week.
Well I'm in the midst of my preparations for the May trip to the B-dub. I'll be leaving some time next week and started gathering all my stuff together today. In previous years I drove up with my brother but this year I want to stay longer than a week so it'll be just me and the Ranger. I'll meet up with Jerry and his buddy Corey at La Tourell's Fish Camp on Moose Lake on May 20th and the pursuit of walleyes will commence.
Hey, how 'bout dem Cubs!!
