As promised here is Part I of my recent trip to the Boundary Waters. It took 12 hours to drive the 640 clicks, averaging 53.333 mph including several stops along the way. As usual, I spent the night in the luxurious LaTourell's bunkhouse and got a tow to Indian Portage early the next morning.
