The lights flickered and power went out. I donned my "Block Captain" hat and pursued the cause suspecting yet another Islamafascist attack. Long story short, a red tailed hawk had a nest on the power pole and Rocky Raccoon decided to eat the chicks. While soaring above, momma hawk espied the coon and came down on him like an A-10 Thunderbolt. The results are graphically depicted above. The good news: power was resumed within the hour and my Lenders blueberry bagel was toasted to perfection.
