Manful, Manly Men and Waldos
I'm back from the annual May trip to the BWCA with only minor injuries. The weather was wet and cool much of the time, perfect for fishing and canoing. No sunburn this year. Several walleyes exceeding 25"s were caught and I managed to land a near trophy sized 22" smallmouth. We spotted a bull moose swimming across the lake, a small pack of timber wolves, and eagles were plentiful in the process of building nests. Regretfully, beaver sitings were rare. All in all it was another great trip.
