Postal Woes

Receiving the mail is the highlight of my day so you can imagine how my world was turned upside down when I discovered the snow plow mowed down the box. The Village President called me shortly after the "incident" and said they'll fix it. Well, after several days and a couple phone calls nothing was done. I reminded the VP the destruction of a mailbox is a federal crime and threatened prosecution in hopes of getting these knuckleheads to do something. When it became abundantly clear the authorities had no intention of righting the wrong, I fixed the damned thing myself. This incident will be reported to the FBI and will not be forgotten come election time. I really hate to throw my weight around as Block Captain but those bastards leave me no alternative.

There were only a couple damaged so I'm planning a major reflector upgrade this spring.

At least you have firewood now...what are you complaining about?

After careful investigation, and examination of the remains, I have determined that the Morton Snow Removal trucks apparently got into your neighborhood, by somehow navigating that horrible little hill leading up to your reservation. They are renouned for turning perfectly good mailboxes into kindling, and they never take credit.
