I've gotten hundreds of emails wondering why I haven't posted lately so I figured an explanation is in order. For the past few weeks I've been laid up with a back problem so severe I couldn't even sit in front of the computer. I'm on the mend and hopefully will be good as new soon. Also Nancy's mother died a couple weeks ago so I didn't feel like posting anything. I had to cancel my annual canoe/camping trip to the B-dub this September which also sent me into the depths of depression and melancholia down in the dumps. Whaa, Whaa, Whaa!!On top of it all, the moles are back this autumn tearing up my lawn with reckless abandon. I'm now setting my traps and so far I've managed to get the beauty pictured above. He'll be displayed on the "mole pole" until I kill another one of these carnivorous bastards. Moles are as cunning and diabolical as any Iraqi insurgent.
