This is the Kawihsiwi River located on Hwy 1 near Ely. The route from Silver Bay to Ely on this highway is one of the most picturesque drives I've ever taken. The road twists and turns for 50+ miles through the heart of the Superior National Forest and traverses some cold clear rivers every few miles. This would be a fantastic ride on two wheeled machines.
